In The Way of the Cell, Franklin M. Harold presents a diagram entitled "A Maze of Membranes." It shows the mitochondria, Golgi bodies, and related cellular elements in a way I'd never seen before. After re-drawing it for myself, I realized that other Micscape readers might find it enlightening, too. If you print it out—it fits easily on an 8½" by 11" sheet of paper—more details will be visible.
