Lyonia ligustrina

This leaves from this shrub were very interesting to photograph. They did not undergo the typical color change I was expecting. All but a handful turned no other color but mid to deep red before falling off to decay. Very many leaves were green and red at the same time. The above is an example off such a leaf.
