Setup and Sources

For this project I kept the photographic setup fairly simple. I used a light box, Nikon D300 mounted to a copy stand, bellows and thimble lens (38mm and 20mm), and a macro 105mm lens. The light box had a flourescent light strip along the edges of the box provinding illumination all around. For the sundew images I placed the plant inside of the box. For the bladderworts I placed my sample in a small petri dish and placed the dish inside the light box and for several of my shots I placed a piece of glass over the light box and place the petri dish ontop of the glass to produce a darkfield effect.
